been awhile since i played this game so i have a shit ton of questions.
1. when can i start to breed golden chocobos?
2. what are some of the best materia sets? (im only at the part where u get the tiny bronco/cid so don't have that much materia atm)
3. where is the best place to train for exp?
4. where is the best place to train for AP

1. I think the best time to start breeding is when you first get the Highwind.
2. Best materia... Knights of the Round (gold chocobo needed), mime (green or blue needed I cant remember), Double Cut (I think its in the crashed plane in the ocean)...theres tons more but its been so long I dont remember.

3 and 4. The forests outside of Mideel for both XP and AP.

I started breeding gold chocobo on disk 3, so you have all the stuff.



you forgot W-Summon, so you can mime the W-Summon of KOTR for 4 cast

Knights of the Round : Mime : double cut (maxed) : Phoenix : many more

3. where is the best place to train for exp?

after you get on the last disc... the ice mountain area

4. where is the best place to train for AP

best play to level is underwater in the ship that you can enter, i forget where it is..you have to be strong though.... i think ,its been so long

Anytime you want really. breeding your own is a pain in the butt. But is worth it if you plan on racing it. Otherwise you get a free golden chocobo for killing one of the weapons(ruby or emerald)

Knights of the round linked with quad magic(+ mime on another character, to copy kotr x4) Phoenix linked with final attack(Attacks and brings you back to life) ~Those are my 2 favs

after you get on the last disc... the ice mountain area I believe I did this as well

4. where is the best place to train for AP
I believe the best way to get mass ap is by finding thoses barrel things and feeding them elixers, cant remember where they are

This, and they're in the mountain after you split up your group, where you find Shield materia.

Magic pot gives 8,000 EXP & 1,000 AP.
Movers (x3) gives 0 EXP, 2,400 AP and also 90,000 gil.

And there's a trick how to get elixirs easily (W-item required).

You can start to breed gold chocobos more easily once you can access the entire world map

Best materia would be.... Final attack, added cut, w-summon, KOTR, phoenix, mime, 2x cut, slash all, ultima, hp absorb, mp absorb, quadra-magic, mega all, and w-magic

best place for exp... i like to train in the sunken gelinka which is under water near the gold saucer area, it's not the best but you can use yuffie to morph things into sources and really start training your characters

best place for AP is to feed elixers to those pot things in the north cave.

Best materia

HP PLUS, MP PLUS (9999/999 very early)
Added Cut, Final attack/phoenix, 2x cut, slash all, and COUNTER ATTACk

Slap on 2x cut -->4x cut -->counter attack mastered 6 materia slots

gg 24 hit counter attack si si?

or would it be only 6? in any event, kills battles fast.. Who wants to watch KOTR every time? I don't even bother getting that shit, fast attacks are the way to go.
