ive never played any of these. but im looking for a new one to play. ive heard good things about these.

Just so you know, since none of those games have any choice & consequence, none of them are really RPGs.

as long as you aren't choosing a character that is an 18 year old white male who works at mcdonalds, I am pretty sure you are playing the role of somebody/something else in a game, close enough.

In which case, you might as well classify Halo, Hitman, Super Mario Brothers All Stars and Street Fighter as RPGs as well.

Get a 360 and play Lost Odyssey its a throwback to FF8...LOVE it.

Oh and this applys to you too..if you loved ff8 as much as I did and you haven't picked up this game yet..do yourself a favor and get it.

Same musical composer as FF one of the great designers of mistwalkers...Story is generic another guy w/ amnesia..but they do it in a slightly different way and the characters are well...likeable =)

I don't care a great deal for the main character *So far* But its..much like ff8 a 4 disc game and i'm only in early 2 plenty of time for that to change.

some characters are better than others =P

Overall though I'd say you'll enjoy it very much.

FF tactics or Secret of mana! well the latter esp if you wanna play 2p
