I could never get into it. I'm thinking about getting into it soon as its the only final fantasy that I haven't beaten. It just was a little to cartoonish for me. Let me know opinions.

It was rather cartoonish, but the game was meant to be that way. It's a good modern-day rpg with a setting similar to older generation FF's. The story is not bad, though cliche at times. Interesting characters and places to visit is a + as well. for 30-40 hours of solid gameplay and decent replay value, I'd say it's worth getting.

Near the end of Disc 2 I believe. I recommend you start a new game.

yea def what I plan to do. As soon as I finish up this semester I'm gonna finish ultimecia's castle in ff8 and the run through ff9.

BTW. whats a general release date for XIII. Ive been hearing late spring early summer or is that all speculation.

FF9 is a must, not much more to say.

Demo in Japan is coming out in spring. I'd say FFXIII will hit the shelves by next holiday season.
