i'm trying to get a gold chocobo, but i cant seem to get a female green one to mate with my blue one. the parents are A class and opposite genders of the parents of the blue one.

anything im doing wrong?

i've read every guide on that site and ffonline. i've done everything they say to do, which some guides say use same parents, which i know dont work. then the other guides say that you need opposite parents (goodF and greatM = one and goodM and greatF = the other)

blue chocobo should be opposite sex of the green one
they should NOT have the same parents
S class gives better chance of getting what you want
give them the right nut

Black + Wonderful = gold

Blue + Green = black

Great + Good = blue/green

Is you problem catching the good/great chocobos to begin with? If that is the case, all you can do is keep trying again and again. Know this though. Once you get the Knights of the round summon, boy, all your training and patience will pay off. Completely.

Make sure you use the right nut as well, which you can get from those goblin things on that random island that I don't remember cause I haven't played this game in years...

you get the nuts from zeidrich from the field outside bone village.. ima try and get s rank for the parents and try then
