I don't remember the short version of the challenge's name.
but it goes like this: (NSGCI or NSGSE)

No using sphere grid
No customising items

Just play thru the game with basic chars with items dropped by monsters/bought
the catch is that had to have all alphabets collected alredy in another save for some special mixtures.

I'm in about mid way completing this challenge atm
and you bet I have swore alot trying 2 luck out the bosses on the way.


so, any1 done this?

I't simply like this:
you play thru the game with base lvl 1 characters
without using sphere grid and customising eguipment.

very hard to do but very possible.

I've done a NSGNSNC challenge which was really fun and I also did a tidus only challenge.

Some people say that doing it without overdrive or blitzball is the hardest and I will never try that.

Make sure you get chocobo feathers before you leave bikanel though.

ive done it except i got to mug with rikku lol but otherwise ya i did lol all of my chars had like 1k+sphere grid moves

But, what's this Tidus Only Challenge?

Tidus only challenge is just what it sounds like. You can only use tidus unless the story forces you to use someone else (like tutorials or via purifico). When it's a party members turn you have to change weapons, and not defend, until it goes back to tidus.

Using loner, spiral cut, and a little bit of leveling it can be done.

Souns like fun, will propably try this when I re-start playing the game again.
how about modifying the sphere grids/items of Tidus and/or other characters?

You can modify tidus and customize his gear but you can't touch the other characters.
