it was just luck i beat that massive orb know as ozmo in the sky chocobo garden.
all i had was the main char and stiener lvl 100 and a healer.

doomsday was a killer for most of the chars but stiener who got healed some how (dont know to this day)
but i had my main char almost at trance before the fight. Then first hit on him was all it took and i just laid into him.
Just bashed it with stiener and zane(i think that was his name) Then you get the final summon . and i was disapointed let me tell you.

and to do all those quests for a summon i barley used.

so how did you guys beat that thing. oh i never played ff7 but i have seen a friend fight ruby weapon. lol yeah he got owned.

#1 its ozma
#2 Ruby Weapon is 10x harder
#3 All you gotta do is have eiko Double White, The knight guy with excaliber II and another other two characters, i suggest Zidane for his good Limits/MP Attack Dmg and Vivi

whats the final summon?
ive never played all the mini quests on 9

I killed Ruby weapon in 1 turn lol. The fountain boss in FF8 is probably the hardest (Omega Weapon I believe), though Warmech in FF1 is nasty.

I forget exactly what I did, but probably the lucky 7's trick. Materia is easily abused . It might have taken 2, but it was a long time ago and I forget.

well me i putted Pumice on all my char so Doomday healed me (that the strategy of my setup VIVI is healer and heal all my char with doomday so i dont need a whm in my team and im 100% dmg )

you can do the Phantom Sidequest to make him hittable by Shadow. than it would be much eayer. i have never actually done it, but i have read that its requires you to meet all the "friendly monsters".

you need to put on shadow absorbing equipment and doomsday will be absorbed ... but the main problem in this fight is going to be status effects ... his curse attack will cause just about every bad status in the game so protect against those as well. his other main attacks are holy (which will heal if you have holy portection on) flare (no way around this killing someone unless they have huge hp) and finally meteor (this does random damage.. one minute it will do 25 damage next it will do 9999 damage

as far as the set up

zidane using thievery and items when needed or if he trances use grand leathal ... (thievery does damage based on the number of times you succesfully stolen)
freya using dragons crest (does damage based on the # of dragons you killed - easy to get 9999 damage each time - also isnt affected by mini status ... this will be your main form of damage) - to power this up kill grand dragons near daguerro (quinas lvl 5 death will kill them instantly)
Steiner using shock and items when needed (dont use shock if minid you wont do any real damage)
Eiko using full life and keeping everyone healed and alive - (she will probably be the first to die since her hp is lowerr

one of the better setups after getting everyone set up with status protection is to give everyone auto regen with auto potion.. since all of his attacks hit the whole party by the time the animation for everyone to use a hi-potion(get rid of all normal potions in inventory) the regen has everyone back up to full life... also give everyone the auto life skill

the boss only has about 60000 hp so as you can see with the right setup you can do almost 40k damage in the first round if you are set up correctly (having eiko use holy as well)... its mainly just luck on what skills ozma decides to use... if you have auto life on even if he gets off a lucky meteor you will still be able to recover in time to kill him in the next round of attacks

also note he is really fast so you may want to put auto haste on as well
