Square alluded to the fact that they might graphically remaster FF7 and re-release it with graphics > the characters and scenery in FF12.

Who thinks this is a good idea?

I would love to play through it againa nd actually be able to discern some of the very obscure graphics in Chacacter Detail and switches, etc. Especially if they didn't change the battle/materia system (except for half the screen being hidden by menu) at all and just updated for newer menus and junk like those found in FF12 or others in the series

I would love them to remake it, with the new technology. Not change anything game play / story wise.. Just make it look like a new game.

dunno what to vote..remake would be nice, but i fear they might fuck up the whole game by doing that by the looks of how theyve been doing final fantasys lately
