I have completed FFX three times now, two partially, and one fully. Each time I've completed it, it has taken me between 150 - 180 hours. Today was the first time that I actually killed Penance, and believe me, it was HARD.

I was wondering if there are any others out there that have actually killed him legit? And by legit I mean without using Yojimbo!

imo he is easy .. my chars got 78k life and wakka 99.999life all stats on 255 luck on 200 (soon 255)
with rikku wakka and tidus its very easy!

lol penance isnt easy hes got millions of life and can kill all chars in one hit lol

he cant if he don't have his both arms ...
12 mio hp = 121 hits isnt so hard ... he make 8k dmg after u owned him 4 mio life he make ~~13k dmg
u need only high life and max stats on rikku tidus wakka.. rest chars nn

which one wsa penance? I don't remember any character being that hard lol

if you get in that bad situation that he has both of hes arms and he got the next turn. and if you dont have any choice to kill any of hes arms. then just summon an aoen then you can also damage one of the arms with attack. or overdrive if they have that -.- but when an aoen gets summoned the aoen will allways start with the turn. and when it dies. you will always get all yourr turns, no matter when you summoned your aoen.

y hes the one with most live in ff ever ::D:D if you also count if you have to kill the arms. then he beats yiasmat by a very big amount of hp
