Pretty risky taking Hydra (let alone two of them)
It's one of the biggest noob trap cards because at any moment it can single handedly instalose you the match

5 mana 8/8 with virtually no downside in arena, since its most definitely about board presence.. is noob trap?

it has a 75 rating in current arena tierlist.. the card is better than like 85% of cards in the epic slot...

I guess you'd say fel reaver was a bad card too

no downside except turning an arcane missile into 12 damage for 1 mana

the odds of a single arcane missle EVER being 12 damage for one mana is very low.
The chances this card swings the board in your favor... Very high.
and even if it is 12 damage to your face... in most cases you've won the board, and this thing deals 16 damage in 2 turns :/

I've played felreaver to legend.. This card isn't quite as strong imo, but in an arena setting it is not too far off. And if it was really a noob trap.. why is it rated so fkn high.?

Even grrlp himself knows having two copies of the card was likely what got him to 12 wins. Its this kind of shit that gets you 12 wins. :/

it's true hydra is a noob trap card in arena. Due to the two main classes being pally and mage. Can freeze it reduce it's attack to 1 ping it slowly off and it kills you. Not to mention shaman board controls

There is a reason why none of the top arena players pick it even if you watch their streams they're like yeah right tier list not picking that hydra xD

Hyrda is one of those picks that you get in a deck if it's complete crap if you're going to try to all out aggro.

If the meta in arena wasn't the way it is maybe hydra would be better. Congrats on 12 wins with druid though

Also this frost festival i believe is bringing in a lot more noobs than lately. I get 12 win runs maybe 2 times a week prior but this week i got 5 12 wins.

Looking forward to the new cards coming out so took a break from ranked to chill with arena during the event
