Paying 2 overload isn't a good idea when it gets cc'd 99.9% of the time I guess

The only class that struggles with it (kind of) is druid.

Even then they have mulch lol. With shaman being so popular it's just gonna get hexed like 90% of the time.

the 7/7 is a 6-cost minion... similar to the 6/7 giant

you could say "oh but it's really 4 and 2 overload"

yep that's right... but look at earth elemental, it's a 7/8 for 5 with taunt & it hasn't really ever sat on top of competitive

the main use of a 4th turn 7/7 is to "overload" the board... a 1/3 that turned into a 2/3, a 3/4 on board, and then turn 3 something else... and then turn 4 ideally you have a 4/3, a 3/4, something else, and your 7/7

is it still useful? only if you can consistently play something on turns 1, 2, & 3, and don't need to play a 5-drop on turn 5

why is it not seeing play right now? because a shaman that matches the tempo on turns 1/2/3 can just hex it turn 4 and then take over the tempo at turns 5/6/7 and smash

I think people that get upset over OP classes just haven't played Hearthstone long enough. Eventually you learn that it's just the way the game is as new cards come in.

I don't think there was a time before when 50% of the player base played 1 class/deck.
(100% in competitive)
