Sup guys! I'm just wondering how everyone feels about the blizzcon finals!

I thought it was super exciting, very well played (for the most part) and had just enough crazy rng moments that makes hearthstone a great game to watch.

No surprise. Awful competitive game.

DrHippi was supposed to win. Surprised there was almost no Freeze Mage which is usually seen in tournaments. I guess it isn't really favored against Druid, Control Warrior, or Hunter; just Shaman which was probably getting banned anyway, so it made sense I guess. Just sad to not see any pro Freeze Mage play.

Very well played?

I saw misplays in just about every series leading up to the finals..

Not sure if I'd call that 'well played'

or are we memeing

Froggy one of these days you will understand hearthstone is more then just pure luck and RNG

You need to stop watching kripp and his crying about 'oh poor rng, only card in his deck that could win'

kripp misplays more often than he lets his viewers believe.

And there's more game knowledge involved then you give competitive hearthstone credit for.

LEts face it.. you're probably even worse then kripp. :/

It's kinda hard to say Pavel deserved to win.

But it was a pretty decent tournament. I enjoyed watching it.

I know it's more than RNG. That doesn't mean it's not one of the main determining factors in most matches.
Meaning all skill becomes minimized in the face of a lucky opponent.

You could at least stop acting like a douche and give your opinion on the tournament - if you even watched it. RNG is a factor is everything - including your day to day life... Something that needs to be dealt with. - The more you know IRL - Education - etc the further you will go in life.. Same as in hearthstone.. But hey you could also get hit by a fucking buss and how shit would that RNG be

Would you blame RNG for all your failures?

cmonBruh

I disagree.. There is luck involved sure, but there is also strategy in your mulligan.. If a player holds correct cards and has a very one sided match - good on them.. It's likely more the game mechanics/class balancing/knowledge of the matchup that wins rather than rng..

We could argue this all day, but can you stop being a douchebag? :/

I did give my opinion.
The winner was decided by luck.
50/50 game deciding Rags, super lucky firelands portals...
It was a joke.

Compared that to other competitive games where luck is like a 1% factor compared to like 30% here.
