I wish you'd receive a special card back for participating.. this way, way more people would try it at least once.

Given that the straight up odds of just breaking even are so low in this sort of format, that the buy-in is so high, and the card pool is far too rich for me, I see no real point. In arena the flat odds are obviously the same, but the money or amount of time my opponent has invested in the game has diminishing returns that at this point only lead to small experience disparities between us.

The vast, vast majority of the decks in this format will be one of the few top-tier decks, the same cookie cutter bullshit that will make the experience both boring and ultimately essentially determined by luck. In a scenario like this luck is not on your side. At around 5-6 wins you merely break even. The best rewards are lumped over to 10-12 wins, where you are statistically unlikely to finish.

Assuming no one retires, the chances of finishing places are:
Wins / Chance%
0 100.00%
1 87.50%
2 68.75%
3 50.00%
4 34.38%
5 22.66%
6 14.45%
7 8.98%
8 5.47%
9 3.27%
10 1.93%
11 1.12%
12 0.65%

Victorias / Probabilidad%
0 100.00%
1% 87,50
2 68,75%
3% 50.00
4 34.38 %
5% 22,66
6 14,45%
7 8,98%
8 5,47%
9 3,27%
10 1,93%
11 1,12%
12 0,65%

You can probably make 1,000 g in a week if you play a decent amount. More if you get good quests.
