why are people allowed (and almost encouraged) to sell CS:GO skins and keys on d2jsp - which are almost entirely obtained by spending money, but the second someone wants to buy hs packs the meds lose their shit?

you can trade keys in steam, you cannot trade packs in hs.
If blizz allows trading of packs, then you can trade them on jsp.

to elaborate, csgo keys can be traded straight up, FG for the keys, you are not directly paying for someone.

HS packs, must be BOUGHT for the FG, there is no other way to give someone else a pack.

/e just realized that you guys are talking about those promo codes, now THAT should be tradeable, but the mods might not know what you mean when you say card packs ft in title.

half the time they dont even read the post if the title is against rules.

tomato / tomato.

when selling cs:go skins you're selling an item. since it can either be found or bought for $, and since d2jsp doesn't feel it's necessary to check whether the given item (keys, skins) was self-found or bought, it follows that they accept both.
if they accept both they accept people buying skins for $ just to sell them for fg. i'm not sure what is then the difference between that and hs packs, or simply buying fg with $ from other users, for that matter.

it seems to me to be both greedy and inconsistent

gift cards/game cards have never been a legal trade as they are a real life object, which you cannot trade for unless you're in the donor forum

Cs go keys are digital items no different than diablo 2 items so they can be traded
