And now that I have these cool packs, I'm competely clueless about this new format.

Warrior, Priest, anything else maybe?

Some guy got rank 1 with dragon priest on WotOG release date. Fibonacci made a dragon warrior deck and JustSaiyan was playing it at top 100 Legend.

Don't have the lists on me, but I'm sure you can find them on google.

My brother has a dragon priest deck that gets him in the single digit ranks

I've seen dragon warriors as well, but most of the time it's a priest

Sure. I saw Fibonacci's list for Wild. He played it in standard too?

Yeah, he made a list for standard that uses the new Warrior legendary and Onyxia.

losing lightbomb and velens is a pretty big blow to dragon...

Then again priest got a nice 6 drop dragon that has a chance to be a monster.
