So this is the situation that i came across when playing my paladin. My opponent has 4 minions on the board that all have 1 hp.

i play wild pyromancer, and the only spell i have is a time rewinder spare part. I play that on the pyromancer thinking his fucking effect will activate first and then get sent back to my hand.

personally i feel like this is wrong because his card says "after you cast a spell" which i clearly did.


i even tweeted ben brode asking him if this working as intended and he said yes.

fuck u ben brode. thats some bullshit.

the effect of the spell happens first, then it deals 1 damage. Not the other way around.

That's why it doesn't trigger on Lightbomb, it dies first.

So the complaint is that.. it is working as intended?

After you cast the spell the wild pyro wasn't on the board anymore. Of course its effect didn't happen.

I figured this out with cult master and a board wipe

I did not draw 5 cards in the end
