Original plan was to buy an air 3 when it comes out later this month but if an air 2 runs it just fine I may opt for that since the air 3 should drop the price of the 2.

Anyone have experience with other suitable tablets? This would be primarily to play hearth while traveling.

Hearthstone isn't all that demanding on a system. I use a Nexus 9 tablet and it runs flawlessly(Except some weird audio bug every once in a while, sounds echo'y)
