I'm currently ranked 18 play mode. Played for about 2 weeks now, learnt online mainly from Trump's youtubes and tutorials. I have played about 5 games so far in Arena, best I got is only 3 wins.

Now I have 700 gold, i'm wondering should I unlock solo adventure (probably Naxx for Haunted Creeper, Nerubian egg and Maexxna since I could do with them in my control mage deck) or I can go and practice more on Arena. What should my consideration be?

I have opened maybe about 20 packs of cards so far in the game and has only 190 dust. I only play mage since shes the only one i have a decent chance at winning I guess.

don't buy naxx IMO the set won't be playable anymore when the new expansion comes out

i would get naxx if you are sure you don't want to spend $$ on it, its pretty mandatory

Wont be spending $ on the game. I read about the expansion, but its only if you choose to play their "standard format" right? So cards in Naxx is still usable if you choose to play in the current settings?

Thats correct.

They said they will have ranked in both modes, but official tournaments will be the new standard format so that is expected to take over.

Also since he doesn't to spend money, he better play standard mode since he won't have much cards.
