How can I use FG for HS - I know we can't trade pack codes or accounts or anything. I am just wondering what use some people have found for it!

Fg can't be used for anything honestly unless you want someone to play on your account for arena / ranked as a service.
Doubt anyone would be willing to do that as well.

As for arena, there is a few things to learn.
What cards to pick over others depending on how far or early you are in selecting cards.
Good time to either trade minions or use spells / weapons to finish off minions.
Ignore the enemy field and just attack the player.
Hold out on expanding the field.

if u have df access you can buy some kind of giftcard and use that for packs if u want

There are also plenty of great players ranging from ranks 5-legend here. Perhaps paying someone for coaching is more your thing
