So I decided that a dragon mage could potentially be viable in this meta. It struggles vs secret paladin just from a lack of aoe, but other than that, its pretty solid.

I'm only dicking around at rank 8ish until things settle from the expansion madness, so I'm not playing the best opponents, but yeah...

Here is the list, and lemme know what you think I can do to improve it.

side note: I HAVEN'T USED IT SINCE I ADDED FAERIE DRAGON.
I took out Owl and TBK for them because I didn't have enough dragon activators and I figured this would help vs more aggressive decks. Also, I don't like coldarra drake too much in this deck, but I'd be willing to put it back in if someone has solid combos or uses for it.

u seem that forget the best dragon card which is ysera..and the best secret for such decks which is duplicate.

what is the deal with mirror entity?dont u think a more defensively secret will be useful?like counterspell or spellbender?

The secrets, I didn't put much thought into, as I'm just testing it out, but mirror seems to catch people off guard after seeing a barrier, so I have been getting decent value out of it. Still open to swapping it with a counterspell though definitely.

Thalnos is a bit out of place. My original version had 2 blizz and 2 arcane missiles with no flamestrike, and also had mana wyrms, but I didn't like it so I switched it up. I'll probably drop thalnos soon as his production isn't really relevant.

Polymorph might be good, but I have yet to struggle with removal of larger minions, so until then I'll leave it out.

Ugh, I'm good on the bgh swap. Rend is a more expensive version of bgh... Most other legendaries that aren't being big game'd can get fireballs or frost bolted. And so far I find effigy to be more efficient than duplicate, as it immediately puts something on the board. Time will tell though how long that'll last. I still may put a duplicate in somewhere.
