i always seem to get no more than 4 wins

how do i progress?
am a rank 4 atm in ranked but arena fml
feel like im wasting gold

watch streams
use heartharena
track the remaining cards in your deck
dont play too fast
control the board

Arena is just tempo and playing around flamestrike.
Board control is the most important thing.

Play on curve.
