Hi there,

So, I'm fairly new to the JSP Hearthstone threads,
but I thought it would be fun to host a fairly casual tournament sometime soon for the community here.
I'd be willing to fork up a chunk of FG as a prize pool incentive (just to make it a bit more competitive),
and then take a small FG entry to add onto it for the 2nd/3rd placers.

My incentive here is that I'd like to to host the tournament on my stream,
I'd spectate both players and screenshot their hands for viewers.

A few questions that might be nice to have feedback on before I get it going are:
1. How often are tourneys like this done in this subforum?
2. Are there certain ways they have been done before that I should be aware of?
3. Are there any parameters to the types of decks and play styles that should be set?
4. Should the bracket be set up as a head-to-head with best of 3? best of 5? loser "goes home"?

Please share with me your thoughts throughout the day,
I will try to get things set up after getting all the feedback put together.

There are usually 1-2 tournies running at any given time in this sub-forum.

Usually they are conquest format, first to 3 (bo5) for most, if not all matches. Occasionally, the finals are extended series.

There are usually no limitations on types of decks and play styles except for the standard conquest format/rule set

Usually we don't have loser brackets, but there's no reason that we can't start now :D

So after reading through some of the previous tournament threads, it seems that the tournaments have stretched over a period of almost a month long (from sign ups to finish), with games taking place off and on over the course of weeks.

I was hoping to have a tournament that takes place over the course of maybe a day or two. Does this seem like it would be possible at all?
