Game would probably have to cost money if cards could be traded.

You can buy card packs from Blizzard but you can't trade

Make like 6 accounts, do dailies every day, trade all cards to 1 account..
Yeah, that's why it's not a TCG.. because people still buy packs all the time, Blizzard would lost money making it tradable.

in theory its not, but the time it takes to accrue necessary cards is a little rediculous that majority of people will pay

It's not p2w. It's pay to catch up to everyone else. There is a massive difference. Go try stronghold kingdoms, where at the top level people are dumping $1k into the game daily, and no one can keep up with them in game. THAT is p2w.

If the grind was super easy no one would pay and blizz wouldn't make any money. Lol
