Hey guys! I'm going to start streaming regularly this month (still working on my schedule). I'm an above-average player who's been legend every season but a few season I took a break from the game. I want to start an educational stream that could potentially become a long-term gig. What I'm here to ask is if anyone would be interested in some coaching sessions from me? The coaching sessions will be free and on my stream. I will coach arena or constructed. I'm also interested in any suggestions you guys might have to help make my stream successful or things you would like to see from a stream.

If you're interested in coaching, send me a pm with what you want help with and a time/day you would like to do it.

Huge tips for streaming that I learned the hard way:

1. If they don't like your music, they won't watch. Some streamers don't even play music because of this.
2. Always talk. Talk to yourself, talk about your plays, whatever. If you aren't talking, people will be bored within 5 seconds.
3. Have a decent webcam and a decent mic. These are required.
4. Post your stream schedule. If you don't have one, you need to make one.
5. Do interactive things with your viewers. Strawpoll which class to pick in arena. Play viewer games. Or like you said, coaching. Talk to them!!
6. People love informative and entertaining streams. If you're neither, nobody will watch.
7. Do some drunk streams or something every now and then when you get multiple viewers. Have a plugdj day. Chat is cancerous and likes to do cancerous things.
8. Make a bio. If people scroll down to look for a bio about you, social media, decklists, games you play etc, and they find nothing - huge turn away.

A few of these things I'm going to complete over the weekend and it's why I don't plan on posting my stream yet. Thanks for a lot of good tips though. I'm also pm'ing you after this about something.

Very good tips, music being a big one. If i turn on a stream and hear WUBWUBWUB I'm immediately closing my browser and NEVER tuning into that twitch stream again lol.

I never really thought about that until Amaranth mentioned it. It's definitely something I wouldn't have considered. However, I do have a very flexible taste in music, and I would mostly play old school hip-hop or classic rock (60's, 70's, 80's) if I did play music.

Anyone interested in coaching sessions though? I feel like this would be a good way to help me be more talkative on my stream and help build my audience.

This is COMPLETELY different. He already has a fan base. He has one of the most cancerous chats and they enjoy it. Not a good way to build a fanbase.
