i am srsly 8-0 vs mech mage as handlock, and i don't use tharissan so that's not even a legitimate excuse

Anything can win at rank 15

you have to be kinda lucky with handlock vs aggro decks.you need double molten in hands or even watcher with sunfury or owl, zombie chow shit,darkbomb etc.

plus you need to find asap sunfury-argus to taunt up your giants or even an early shadowflame and even sometimes thats not enought.

i guess you are rank 19 with the excuse,that you farm golden portrait hero.

Plain and simple, if they open with something like

T1 cogmaster
T2 mech warper + clockwork gnome
T3 mech yeti.

You have outright lost already. There is very little a handlock can do at this point. You might get lucky and get ancient + shadow flame, but you already lost like 15 health and you are staring down the barrel of a mech mage who probably hasn't used a single frostbolt or fireball yet. Plus you are about to take another 4 because your shadowflame didn't kill yeti.

Nobody that's good at this game plays mech mage anymore. I'm at a higher rank and haven't seen a mech mage in weeks.
