There's a way to convert any currency into anything... if said currency is worth something.

When the AH was around in Diablo 3, I could convert 10k fg into $100. Forum gold still has the same value, but the ease of transferring it around into a usable currency might not be the same as it was when the AH was around.

FG can't directly be traded for card packs though.
