I think the mage legendary is not that great. 8 mana 8/8 is kind of w/e statted to start.. And the minions it spawns are 0/1's... Its likely if you want value from them/want to activate the 'eggs' - as a mage, often your only option will be to ping them.

The card is very slow. Its not as good as antonidas... Even pyros seems better to be honest.

Certainly is no dr. 8... This card is very far from dr 6-7.. Mysterious/boom both give you instant value for far less mana then they are costing- this card doesnt get value until you can pop the eggs. And even then, you only have a chance of getting something useful.

Far from dr6-7... Far from a good card imo.

Its a generic 8/8 essentially.. Pyros and antonidas are both superrior cards.

I think it might see some use in some very janky mage decks.

Like rank 15 material.

I think the card has potential.

However the fact that it spawns 0/1 is kinda bad.

You can ping them, so it's really only good in really slow control mage decks, possibly N'zoth Mage.

If you see it as 8 mana 8/8 draws 2 random legendary card, it's pretty good. But the thing is you need mana to activate it.

So thats not how it reads.
It costs mana to draw from.
It has potential at rank 15 in some jank shit decks sure.
Nn to debate this card its really not good.

But u have lots of experience so maybe jsp is right



I think troll gave the best example; with how sneeds was never played, and arguably is just better[and neutral for that matter]

Dunno, sneeds has bad stats and really weak to silence/polymorph effects.

I was gonna say, If the minions it spawns are actually permanently frozen, it could actually be good with Cryomancer http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/49739-cryomancer

But nvm.. it's actually IF an enemy minion is Frozen.. Man I wish this card and the new 3 mana 3/4 draw a card would actually work if your own minion was frozen.

Then this mage legendary would be playable for sure.

yeah i think its mediocre as well. Has potential in a heavy control/attrition meta.
No defensive capabilities(taunt etc), immediate impact or attack on the 0/1's makes it pretty suspect.

On the other hand the 3/4 looks pretty sweet in my opinion.
