i get all the hype for new cards, i am hyped too. But so far, pirate warrior got buffed by a crab, and elemental decks might work in 2-3 classes to try to stop it. i dont see any change in high ladder decks for now

Also I disagree with the crab.. it's really bad in pirate decks IMO

Yes.

Other times you can't even play it as a 2/3 because you have a good pirate that forces you to destroy it..

Also you lose burst damage by including this card in your deck.

hmmmm, i play stuff, get patch, 1 face. next turn crab for 2 i get a 3/4.. how is that bad lul

It's no different from playing a basic 2/3 for 2
Because you both remove and gain 1/1 power from your own board
Except now you have less minions so your stats are less distributed

And later in the game (turn 3+) you just kill your own good pirates
Also removes pirate synergy from your own board
