Kinda weird, they made Arena Standard-only but let people still finish their current runs if they had a pre-patch deck.

Not that weird.. When a new set comes out, and you have an arena deck built you still finish the run.. kind of the same idea.

Yeah that's true. Although sets usually increase the average power level of a draft (I think?) while the Standard change massively reduces the power level.



Yeah I understand their motivation.

But at the same time how would you feel if you're 11-0 and get queued up against someone with a Wild deck and get annihilated?

I wonder if they put in a transition system to match Wild decks up with other Wild decks, or if they're just going to let it run its course. I'm tempted to save my deck lol.

nahhh they just let it run its course as you say.

At some point Kripp played against a deck that had banned cards from like 2-3 months ago (forgotten torch and summoner)

I mean it's not that much of a big deal.. you just finish your run and then it's done.

Also the new decks might be stronger than before since you get much more spells and way more epics/rares/legendaries

I've got an arena deck from a few months ago. Will let it set for a while then bust it out to fuck with people.

play it against Kripp and beat him.. he will go nuts
