you'll be breaking even at best if this is the case.

Post a link saying where blizzard states you'll be given full dust refund on disenchanting them... they don't mention it in their post - just that everyone with the cards will get their full dust value back.


if you don't have a ragnaros right now.

You craft him gold (-3200 dust). Then when the expansion comes you get FREE +3200 dust just for having it on your collection (so you are at 0)

then you can dust your golden ragnaros for 1600 dust because blizz gives you free dust for just having the card.

Right.. in the case you don't have a golden rag or syl or w/e.
So best case you craft golden rag if you don't have it now investing 3200..
and when rotation comes you profit 1600.
But youre sans ragnaros.. up 1600 dust.. I guess you could get a free legend out of it..

okay I see now.. So if you have golden rag/syl whenever they rotate out just don't worry about it?

seems like if you have 2x ragnaros like 1x gold and 1x regular

you will only have 3200 dust from this since you can only put 1 copy in your deck

so if you already have golden versions of these cards do not craft them in regular version

Yes max possible dust is 1x Golden for Rag and 2x Golden for everything else.

They imply a full amount given at least considering just before it they stated

"We wanted to allow players to disenchant Classic cards that are being added to the Hall of Fame set for full dust refunds"

The point is you will 100% get what you pay for the card. And then you can disenchant it for the NORMAL amount of dust. So you can still come out ahead.

i'm fine with that.. I'll get like 9600 dust anyway.

As Kripp says.. they giving a lot of freebies.. they will even give daily rewards for logging in lol

they want to improve wild..

so why not just unnerf the previous cards like molten giants, blade flurry, warsong commander, force of nature and put them back in WILD?

Right - if you don't have the cards..
You can invest and come out ahead a tiny bit..
If you do have them, just hold tight right?

I guess if you don't play wild or brawls you could profit a bit?

They really should have dealt with cards like this in the past instead of gutting all the archetypes.. :/

Yeah if you already have 2x of each and 1x of each legendary, then you wouldn't want to make any more.
Technically those who already opened them from card packs are just profiting more

I think you stand to profit ~3200 dust if you craft every single basic and golden version of the cards being sent to wild, then getting the refund, then disenchanting for normal costs

I'm just hoping the cards coming with the expansion to replace them can fill the gaps.
