Neither of those are control.
Id argue jade druid is as much control as the class has ever seen... It really doesn't play that different than control warrior traditionally does.- it just includes ramp/jade mechanics that warrior don't have accessto.
It uses all premium removals.. often runs heals and armor. and leverages them to grant control over a game. the jade package is just what it is. Druid's primary mechanic is ramp - its a part of the 'green' archetype in general.. But still a ramp deck ends up playing out as either a heavy mid-range to control.
Jade isn't an archetype - just a mechanic.. We don't play deathrattle decks.. unless youre froggy.. 'pirate' decks are just agro.
Jade druid is extremely heavy midrange - control..

The pirates does not eliminate much more than Kazakus. Hand buffing mechanics takes to long to develop regardless if you opponent is Pirate or Reno. Even when minions are somewhat strong they are not that hard to remove with the tons of aoe that introduced with this expansion. Hunters and Rogues does not have access to any healing and will just slowly melt versus most of the Reno builds, with the exception of perhaps priest. People don't seem to understand that Kazakus is just as much public enemy as the Pirates are. That card destroys all other control possibilites. With Pirates and Shaman nerfed, it is very very likely that the only decks viable until April will just be Dragon- and Reno decks, with some extra additions such as miracle etc.
Miracle is kind of a deceptive title too imo..
Rogue is an agro deck these days.. Equally as bad as 'pirate' warrior.. in many cases its far more all-in.
its crazy to think that one of the best 3 drops in the game - SI agent is seen as too slow of a card.. and now we run 2x questings to have a 'nuts' all in conceal play.
