It really makes you wonder how bad some people must be at Hearthstone when the win rate of the best deck ends up at 52% after taking all games into consideration

Well, to be fair, it's not every game you start with stb + coin + stb into jade claws... just 80% of them

I mean the problem isn't the win rate at all
It's how popular the buccaneer combo is and how unfun it is to play against

I'm no fan of the Pirate package. But I rather have it ingame rather than playing against only Dragon- and Reno decks.

Yeah but pirates eliminate so many other archetypes due to their hyper aggressiveness. Hand paladin, most rogue/hunter builds, even reno builds can't keep up unless they draw the perfect removal and reno by turn 6.

And then for the shaman, they not only have the pirates, but also the almighty trogg/totem golem opener and jades.

The pirates does not eliminate much more than Kazakus. Hand buffing mechanics takes to long to develop regardless if you opponent is Pirate or Reno. Even when minions are somewhat strong they are not that hard to remove with the tons of aoe that introduced with this expansion. Hunters and Rogues does not have access to any healing and will just slowly melt versus most of the Reno builds, with the exception of perhaps priest. People don't seem to understand that Kazakus is just as much public enemy as the Pirates are. That card destroys all other control possibilites. With Pirates and Shaman nerfed, it is very very likely that the only decks viable until April will just be Dragon- and Reno decks, with some extra additions such as miracle etc.

Destroys other control types.

Despite the fact that jade is a known weakness of reno
AND that mid range jade shaman is now a t1 deck.

You wat mate.
