It is colorful when first equipped like you see on the left

after being used for awhile it gets faded and worn out looking like on the right

Also my Overwatch card back is similar.
also I think that the version on the left is the real version.. the version your opponent will see when you got cards in your hand
the version on the right is a non moving less detailed version that you see on the cards in your deck off to the right of the playing table

The version on the right demonstrated on his screenshot is blurry because it shows that it's the card back set to his ''Favorite'' and he hasn't chosen a new one for the specific deck he's making.

If he choses another card back it will be on the right and won't be blurry.

It appears this is the case
