I'd agree with ranks 3-1. Ranks 5 and 4 have not been that bad in my experience. But when you're almost at legend you just play to win. Low legend ranks are people just meme-ing.

Ranks 5-3 are harder then 2-1
2-1 you queue into a lot less try hard legend players - and a lot more thirsty rank 3-5's while at those ranks..
top 100 gets more competitive again.
