Then the options of what they'll see goes down drastically and it becomes way less strategic.
Is there some card game where you have no idea what your opponent is playing after they play their cards?
You are advocating for differences while at the same time saying everything should be the same to the point where it doesnt matter what you pick. and claiming 2 decks are OP imba while 15-20+ are actually demonstrably viable.
In an era of netdecking in a standard format(limited card pool) ofc there will be recognizable decks after people play some of their cards.
Knowing all of the exact cards is actually less likely than before. There are big differences in the classes, and different card choices within each type.
And there are still many strategic choices to make.
