The bottem line is its a competitive scene. Take a look at all the active tournaments across all competitive games; You'll notice hearthstone is up there with them all.
You not understanding this makes me question if you have a brain.
I also don't understand what age has to do with any of this; I haven't played hearthstone over a month and a half; but I could log on and wipe the floor with you bud.
Let me know if efficiency/your choices didn't matter in the end.

I think Hearthstone is the joke of competitive gaming
I've seen countless pro level games just be completely 100% decided through random RNG effects (as in something happens so detrimental to the other player that the game is essentially just over)
Not to mention the game is so poorly balanced...

Yeah.. Cant disagree there. A lot of the tournaments are invite-only and many of these streamers are really not great players. There are a lot of talented deck builders/players who fly under the radar, but are vastly better/more understanding then the popular players we all know about.

Bottem line its still competitive.. No matter how silly the game can be at times.

Silly is the theme they set out for though.. Ever since tgt the expansions have been a complete joke.

Take ben brode for instance. :3

The game is actually extremely well balanced. Literally dozens of different decks are somewhat viable.

I agree that the extreme RNG swings being common is just horrendous for competitive environments.

When you've got clear cut favorites the game is not balanced.
Even if there are 20 decks that can win games, it does not mean they are similar strength.

When you see specific decks be in every person's line up the game is not balanced.

You see this a lot in League of Legends too, where only 20 champions ever get picked (when you can ban 6 and pick 10 out of 130)
But recently it's been a lot better where over 30 are getting picked (a lot more variance)
