These prices are getting out of hand.
100fg on jsp is roughly equal to $1 across all subforums.
In an arena run you pay either $2 or 150 in game gold. Because of this each 80 gold quest is equal to roughly $1, since you need 2 quests for it. 80 gold quest + 80 gold quest = 160 gold = 1 arena run = $2 = 200fg
I can understand demand driving that up a little, but making it 70% more expensive is going way too far. Why would you choose you use $3.40 worth of fg when you can just use $2 to get the same product? It just blows me away that anyone would overpay by this much for essentially a service that is without a doubt less convenient than the one already offered in game., aka: the substantial reduction is effort it takes to just pay blizzard to do this rather than the process needed in finding and stitching together the gold needed via jsp.
Your comparision is pretty flawed to say the least.
#1 From where do you get the estimation that $1 equals 100fg? Most of the Counterstrike section is based on the 80-100fg /
Euro, and most things valued above 85fg /
Euro, never sell, not to mention that the
Euro is worth just a bit more than the $. And by estimation since were are talking about that, the Counterstrike section probably has a very minimum of 1.000 times the revenue to that of the Hearthstone section. Where is is stated that 100fg is equal to 1$, cause I have missed that.
#2 While the mathematics on the Arena aspect is allright, you are forgetting the big big fact that: Arena takes time. Time to MOST is valuable, hence they would never make that calculation that you did, simply because they either don't have the time or they value time much more.
#3 You are missing the part that many many players will NEVER spend a dime on this game.
Now I'm not here to hijack the topic, nor am I saying that the price is wrong or right, I'm simply saying that you cannot so simply compare the matter. If you were here late last year, then you might remember that the price was at 200fg / quest.
