For the most part Hearthstone is all about rolling the dices.

Let's say you play against aggro.. you just have to pray you get all your early game cards and board clears. If you do get them, you mostly win. If not, you just lose instantly. ''Pray you have an answer for the 4 mana 7/7 or get PUNISHED''


Of course there is skills involved, but I personally can't take the competitive scene seriously. Most of the time the winner isn't the best player.

No one claimed luck doesnt play a part. It does not logically follow that its a joke or that competitive players are "dumb" if luck is involved and can elevate people in small sample sizes.
Thats the case in many other games and sports as well.

It's not just about Pavel. As I said these instances are extremely common. I'll explain below why I can't take it too seriously.

But guess what ? In what other competitive games do good players have a fair shot at beating the world champion ? It is the case with Hearthstone.



There is no rng in sports.
In poker, you are in control, as in you can fold whenever you want . Similar to hs.. the pros can lose to common people.
