i guess the tavern brawl rule is a battlecry

Yeah, the "spell" is cast before the minion is played.
Example, you play Twilight Drake with 6 cards in hand.. it comes out as a 4/1 as the spell is cast, arcane shot targets Twilight Drake. It dies before the buff.

This brawl is stupid..

well in kripps tavern brawl video this week he played some minion, it played vanish, and it returned the one he played

At 475 Warlock wins, only after like 4 months after hitting 400. But Reno is pretty fun to play.

The same way some minions like dr. Boom would land before their battle cry took place, vanish is probably special and waits for all battle cries to be resolved

Battlecries have priority over entering the board effects (ex: abusive will trigger before a knife juggler)
