Been playing a few games with midrange shaman.

I am pleased with the results so far.

Is this a tier 1 deck in this meta ? I am not sure.

And if anyone has suggestions, Lmk.

Current meta snapshot lists midrange as the #1 deck, but a new one comes out tomorrow. Rag seems a little out of place though.

Trust me, Ragnaros has been winning me a lot of games.

He's often the last burst of damage I need to finish off the opponent or to clear some annoying minion. Or just a big guy sometimes.

I switched Alex out for Rag in my control warrior. There were just too many situations where I needed to play defensively but have more than 15 hp, and if you're opponent has 2 minions than statistically Rag should kill at least one. So although it's RNG, I think more often than not it can be a better defensive card than Alex.

List is really greedy... Rag an d 2x master of evo's.. I mean.. sure chillwind yeti is nice on 4 and stuff.. but 4 drops can be a little bit more these days u know.

There's a lot off in this list tbh.. Midrange shaman may be considered tier1 but.. that list is just off you know.. I guess not because your defending//asking questions about it but.. yeah. not great.

Really hard to justify 2x 8 drops in a midrange deck in this meta.. missing bloodlust, and primal fusion for early game. Eternal sentinel is kind of useless tbh.. Youre likely forced to play it on 2 without value often times.. + you don't run flamewreathed or other really heavy overload cards.. not a good enough excuse to run it for 2x storms and totem golems.

Youre missing thunderbluff valiant too.. Not sure how you ever win any games with this list tbh. play midrange minions and pray seems to be this decks gameplan.

actually, I got back to where I found the original list from and the guy says it's from Mr Yagut who've got top 10 with it.

Only thing I changed is Ragnaros for argent squire.

And are you really comparing master of evo to yeti ? as far as I know Evo is played because it has a very good battlecry and decent body for 4.

In this metagame yeah im comparing itto yeti. The metagame is so fast that often you wont have a minion on board when you hit turn 4, and it will often just act as a chillwind.. You want to playyour strongest turn 4 in most cases when the time comes, and the card ends up being mediocre. You can get away with it as a one of imo.. But your deck is so slow as it is.

Also mr yagut is like 1/2 the player be was during mid brm imo.. He always seems lost and his decks often dont make sense.. This is one of them.

When i went to bed last night i was same rank as yagut... Except i dont plAy 8+ hours a day. Lul

I mean u could just drop rag 1x master of evo and the eternal sent.. Play squires and a thunderbluff valiant and you'd be running a mostly 'normal' shaman list..
