When you play brann mistcaller ,think about it,its same mechanic.it doesnt stop when gives + 1 to all it repeats one more time ,so this will repeat one more time on the target that is there at the moment.
Yeah I get that. But think of it this way:
The battlecry activates, and is then locked into its target prior to being doubled. Therefore when mist caller is played, your 2/2 minions gets +1/+1 & +1/+1. It's a static interaction, meaning there is no real variable to change. This battlecry however is the first effecting mana cost on an already played card.
So I guess the question is, does the battlecry lock in to a 3 cost minion and activate twice on THAT particular minion, or does it retarget the new 4 cost and turn it into a 5? i don't feel as if mistcaller or loatheb would be comparable situations in this regard, as they merely have a +(whatever) effect, meaning their effected form still feels the same effect from the base battlecry. This effect will be truly unique to the game as far as I'm aware, and as a result can only be speculated at this time...
I just like to look into these things and discuss them with fellow players! Who knows, I'm probably wrong. It's just from my understanding of the game, that's how it should work.
