start with mtgo at least u can join local tournaments and make friends. unless you enjoy spamming mech players who's mom's credit card paid extra for a golden "Well played." button.

I can see that
But as they keep adding expansions and cards, which they will for sure
The game will change immensely and there will be a lot more variety
at the end of the day it is a mobile game to me and it's mainly just a time killer
Though it feels very unfair at points

look at the grand tournament

every card so far hasn't changed shit in the meta lol

there will be more variety for a single week or two and then it gets stale again.. it's hearthstone.

i waited for a year and a half to play this game and i was nothing but disappointed
