I was basically freeze mage OTKing with the basic deck, so I figured this would work better. And mech mage needed 2k dust, so meh. I should have made fucking cancer zoo instead.

Rank 20 is kinda like retard legendary, and I never draw into my win conditions.

Main problem I have is that mana addict is too slow. The main win condition of this deck is to do enough early face damage to actually get a combo off. But I get off a +7 mana addict and then she dies and I can't draw a combo fast enough. I even teched in ice barrier and arcane explosion to help aggro.

Would something like an amani berserker instead of arcane explosion help? Having an extra mana addict could be pretty good, and I don't see a lot of unleashes. Mostly basic deck face hunter, warlock, mech warrior, etc.

if you don't like farming low ranks then there's no need for you to read this thread. some people have to farm 20s to get their cards. it's just the way it is.

i dont think budget freeze mage works. the deck already kinda lives on a razor's edge with being able to survive JUST long enough to do it's burst and deal JUST enough damage to kill

it works if you get some retarded tempo mana addict opening

but any life gain / control warrior / early board clears = lose

you can't stay til fatigue with it

yeah it's a lot harder without alex and thalnos.
