i did 2x 5 win quests and a 2 win and went against nothing but mages. I think there was 1 shaman

He's saying he doesn't think it ought to be so competitive.

But why should this mode be about fun and originality rather than winning anymore than ranked? This isn't casual in any way like last week's brawl, it's just a different set of rules. If Tempo Mage is the only thing that's viable, that's Blizzard's fault. If players can rake in the gold by using a deck that beats everything else, they'd be stupid not to consider that option.

Again, obviously it IS that competitive though. Just because you see it as fun and not serious doesn't mean everyone else does. If they did, they wouldn't be using waker mage. If you weren't supposed to try and win, there wouldn't be a win counter. Personally me and my friends have a running bet, most wins at the end of each brawl gets 20 from everyone else in the group, so I'm not always gonna be dicking around with garbo decks.

Blizzard made this challenge so you can create an original deck, otherwise there'd be an option to just transfer one of your other decks over to it. When everyone is using the same exact deck from hearthpwn it kinda takes the fun out of it.

There are so many strong decks for this challenge but people would rather just copy the most popular one to the point where 90%+ use the same one card for card. I made a druid for my 5 win quest with soul of the forest/power of the wild/combo etc. and it was a lot of fun and did well. I'm not mad it's just lame trying to make a cool deck for this and going against a ladder tempo mage every time. To each their own, I never liked copying popular decks for ladder either and I have a lot more fun creating my own.



There's not as much incentive to play the most overpowered decks of the moment on this as compared to ladder, but I guess people still do the same for casual mode.

But the thing is Blizzard failed to make a set of rules where a diverse metagame is possible. Have you tried Banana Tempo Mage? It has like a 90%+ win rate. Literally. That should not be possible and yet it is.
