hes like 15 years old and one of the best players in the world.

I don't like it when players insult their opponents. That's how you get LoL-tier communities.

And us responsible adults need to correct their behavior.

That doesn't take away from a single thing he said in his post

Some level of immaturity is to be expected from a 15 year old.
Some level of frustration is expected out of a human being when they take a competitive environment seriously.

The fact that he is one of the best players in the world and has an informational stream are reasons people watch him. its not some grand mystery. ( so yes it does take away from what he said and explains the circumstances)
His personality and emotions also play a part. Not everyone is a big baby that cant stand someone insulting an opponent in a video game that cant even hear him. Twitch is a medium of entertainment for predominantly male gamers, not an SJW pussfest or school of Victorian etiquette.
If he wants to cuss his opponent up and down the street and call out their bad play i have zero problem with it.

Right, twist and oversimplify the point I made about the environment being one of informal young male entertainment and not an sjw pussfest into that^. Great.

You posted some lame holier-than-thou 'Us adults need to teach him not to insult the skill and plays of other players on his stream. how dare he!" rather than recognizing that hes a teenager getting a little frustrated playing a videogame, that perhaps there is room for behavior and criticism that isn't exceptionally polite, and that other people enjoy watching his stream even if you are too stuck up to enjoy it yourself.

Meanwhile you had no problem calling him a cunt for rightly questioning the play of his opponent. A+ consistency.

You are bad at the game and aren't understanding how someone could get frustrated that a player who is playing badly beat him.
The fact that he lost or his opponent has a high rank doesn't mean the other guy played well or is above reproach. It was a heavy counter matchup in a videogame with lots of rng.

He used a hyperbolic off-the-cuff comment that wasn't nice to his opponent that couldn't even hear him. *GASP* the horror.

I have no desire to turn twitch into an atmosphere where there is no room for truth telling, emotion/frustration, and serious gaming for the sake of 'muh feels' and virtue signalling.
Get that.

Gonna have to agree with cam on this one.

If he was doing it in a tournament setting, both players being face to face, it would be different. Then it's truly bad sportsmanship.

Talking shit at home while attempting to stream is perfectly fine. He could just be doing it for the entertainment factor. Got to make talking to a monitor interesting somehow.

I'm not saying it was wrong, just that it was annoying and whiny, and I don't know how people find it entertaining.
