I don't think you understood what I wrote man, nothing against you. and no i don't need "tips" from a salty person.
Especially one that gets aggressive and defensive when told he is wrong :/

Point in my post where I was aggressive or defensive. Sounds like you are getting defensive. But gl with those freeze mages on rank 18 in the ladder.

I think you're mistaking GodBless for the wrong person if you think he is playing on rank 18.

I would bet he has a lot more knowledge and understanding of the game than you do.

Who am I though, he doesn't need me to defend him eh.

I just watched Mark Rosewater talk on designing Card Games. One point really applies here:
#Lesson 19: Your audience is good at recognizing problems and bad at solving them.
https://youtu.be/QHHg99hwQGY?t=55m57s

That's the thing about team5 that I'm most happy about. They don't listen to solutions suggested by fans.

By the way, kill Lich King with Murlocs, before it's way harder after Warleader nerf ;)

You should listen to all solutions.
You still make your own final decision though.

No reason to limit yourself.

The devs in Hearthstone can't make balance decisions for shit though.

Why would you as a developer listen to people who have no clue about designing a card game? It seems to me like a disaster idea.
Everyone told them that there is a problem with druid. That's what audience is good at, recognizing a problem. But the suggestions how to fix it, and even the most popular suggestions, were terrible.
For example in the end they nerfed the best performing druid card. That's common sense. What's the community response? "Nah, it wasn't the best card, nerf UI instead" ;)
Also there is a notion that a card should still see play after nerf. Why? Most cards don't. So if you make a card in line with other cards it actually shouldn't see play.

Yep exactly what I was saying.

Now Blizzard has made some dumb decisions but people always think they know better and usually don't. Like when Lifecoach ragequit the game because the Hunter quest was going to be too OP.

Blizzard have great data and a team of expert designers and a vision for the game and most importantly know what cards are going to be released in the future how current cards will affect those. They know what they're doing.

If we let people vote on buffs and nerfs, Hearthstone would've been dead a long time ago. People don't know shit about game design.

The top voted comment on the announcement with almost 600 likes

I'll check out the video.

Calling out the person on this sf with by FAR the most games played and probably the most seasons consistently legend.

It's a bold strategy cotton let's see if it pays off.

Pick, calling people out + assuming they are "worst than you" because you disagree is aggressive, and puts you in a defensive position. If you don't get that, think of this.

"Hey man, I think that your sandwhich would be better without the chocolate with your ham and cheese".

Your reply is: "OMG you are such a clueless dude if you don't like that, fight me irl bro I will show how it's done."

Too much keyboard warrioring  That's how you sounded man. This isn't the d2 pvp sub

But regardless, I am not saying I have issues with mage at all... I am saying that iceblock makes the mage decks absolutely boring to face. It has no interaction, it keeps freezing you, iceblock making up for its total lack of board presence.

Removing/nerfing it IS the way to totally change the deckbuilding of mages, hopefully making it fun to face.

I also find the deck annoying to play and repetitive, but that's my personal taste.

I'm happy to have decks that aren't just "build a big board and attack"
Ice block is definitely pretty annoying though when all the other decks are.
