I addressed the fact that adding a high mana cost card to an aggro deck like mech mage isn't a big deal, in fact you need a few high quality high drop to balance it out.

What happens if you don't have any good higher drop minions and your opponent is able to clear your board / make your hand empty ?

You lose the game horribly. Then you draw your shitty 2/3 drops for the rest of the game.

That's how you lose 90% of your games as a mech mage.

fun fact. With an empty hand and board you have like an 80% to lose despite having dr boom antonidas and rhonin.. You seem to think of mech mage as a long game control archetype... which it isn't.

Not if it's the same for your opponent.

At least drawing Rhonin in this case (which happens often) will be better than pretty much anything else in the deck.

Yes actually even then. Your cards pound for pound aren't a lot of value. You are an aggro / tempo deck. If you lose tempo, you lose.

It has synergy with one card, which is used because it has synergy with the entire deck.

Terrible deck building to add a card because it has some synergy with ONE card.

Anyway, I just love the fact you think you know everything, claiming that Boom doesn't even deserve a spot in there. Yet, any decent player will tell you that Boom is almost an auto-include in any mech deck.
