ok? so the only reason is good is because it's also a spell, not only because its card draw effect is powerful which I thought is the whole point of the discussion (because its card draw effect isn't very good)

It's card draw is powerful though.... Unlike nourish or sprint, it doesn't take for ever to do something. That is where it's power lies, the fact that it can be played so soon and synergized very well with apprentice + flamewaker is just a bonus.

Not even a correct analogy. It's like if you spent 10 and got 15 back... Which i would do every day of the week.

The card replaces itself and gives you extra....

Arcane Intellect is not a bad card at all.
Why not talk about savagery and its usefulness?

Or rend blackhand.

Don't even get me started on that 8/4 stat line.

It's actually more like investing 10 dollars and getting 15 back that you can use at a later time.
Even though you might need that 10 dollars right now and could crash your entire economy if you don't. (You're against a face deck)

yes bad card 3 mana for 1 card i can replace it with a card i want to draw save 3 mana

your argument would only be valid if you could run as many copies of the card you wanted to draw as you wanted.

however, since there's a limit on only having 1 of each legendary and 2 of each regular card, your argument falls apart quickly

also, even then, it's 1 card for 2 cards, which is still a benefit. your extra card costs you 3 mana, vs the warlock passive which costs you 2 mana and 2 life.

im just rank 20 trying to get quests done :)

rank 20 is generally considered to be pretty low. perhaps if you spent more time thinking and trying to understand why players vastly better than you (professionals) choose to play arcane intellect instead of stubbornly insisting on your own narrow-minded views, you would get better at the game.

i could also add some points in there about statistics and deck thinning, but i feel you might just get too confused
