You play vs FACE hunter, you are at low health. You manage to clear all his minions, but you are now at low health. Next turn you topdeck this card with 5 health left.

He has 1 or 2 minion left or none on the board since you had to clear everything to survive

Youre assuming you clear board.. ofc its not great in this case... But a 4/4 for 5 mana is better then having played nothing. -- You could give the minion taunt, or other buffs.. making it useful again?

In standard its currently one of if not the best way to heal up via neutral minion.. -- Earthen ring and maybe refreshment vendors as runner-ups.

the opposite can be said too, can only be good against aggro decks with more than 3 minions on board but even then, isn't a boardclear better ?

Anyway there is no point in arguing, I understand what you're saying and there aren't much healing choices in standard yet, I've never said this card was trash nor useless.

Situational card vs statically good card

It's a straight up worse healbot.

Fair enough. in omst cases yes, but boardclears don't give immediate tempo... Unless ofc youre way ahead.. but still a naked boardclear is not a tempo play.



It is, of course. Healbot will not be playable in standard though.. -- And my guess is the oldgods cards will be generally weak. I'd guess maybe 10-15 playable 'wild' cards.. if even that many. And so theres no point in trying to compare a healbot to this card, as they'll never see play together in the same meta.

Which again, makes it, the best, if not a very close runner up to best neutral heal card.
