Lord Jaraxxus does good against aggro, at what rank? Like Reno has never been played purely for tempo in a control matchup lol, oh and didn't you compare Yogg to Kazakus? I don't se any freezemages or Malygos decks for that matter, you know, combo decks. You and all the nay-sayers will have a fun mars-april run, that is if you enjoy playing against Kazakus.

Apparently a possible 14 point heal is never good against aggro.

Who knew.

I'd also argue that lord j is simply better against control than kazakus. Literally has never been a single deck in this game that could consistently over power the hero power without burning you from hand.

It really isn't. I mean it's certainly strong, but pavels rng is more broken than kazakus.

I mean yogg will still occasionally win you a game, hardly makes it broken. :p

Chance of getting 2 specific effects is 25% so not really that unexpected.

not unexpected but still lucky, especially since it seems to always happen to Pavel.

Now factor in top decking bruiser.

Now factor in already having reno in hand.

Annnnnnnd now you have his actual chance of winning.

As I said to the other guy arguing me, calculating win chance at some arbitrary point in the tournament (especially at the very end) is incredibly misleading.

I'd actually guess that pavel has probably played at least twice the amount kripp has..

But that wasn't the point.. point is you place kripp on the same pedestal your knocking pavel off of.

Not really
I haven't said that Pavel isn't a great player
I'm just stating you can't rate his success based on tournament wins, only win percentages
And win percentage is what I'm rating Kripp off of...

You can't rate success based on tournament wins? because..
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/hearthstone/Pavel
That's a fkn lot of tournament dollarydo's...
And as for win percentage; Pavel is still more than likely miles ahead of krippo.

Not sure what kind of scale we're weighing the success on here.

At least in terms of hearthstone alone.. Being a fkn variety streamer - as much due to hearthstone as kripp owes - the money made is still not exactly from hearthstone per sey.. its twitch money..
+ Kripp's actual success stems from world of warcraft - and diablo..

It isn't when youre saying his winning that game wasn't unlikely.

It was unlikely. Saying otherwise is just silly.

Keep in mind, I don't care about this Pavel being bad or whatever argument. I stayed far away from that for good reason. :p

Uh I don't really care about success or revenue or anything. Irrelevant.
This is about measurement tools

Pavel has a good win percentage and is a great player. Not because of his tournament wins, however, which are largely based on luck.
Same as Kripp for arena. Highest win percentage out of everyone over tons of games.

The point I was trying to make is that small advantages in win rate radically improve your chances to win a given tournament. The effect is exponential I believe.
