We're discussing armorsmiths in control, not fatigue. I've never seen a CW with 0-1 armorsmiths, gimicky Reno decks aside.

Fatigue is control
It's just a different type

You can even still run Alex/Grom combo in fatigue

I just assumed we meant "classic" control.

Justicar changed classic control to a fatigue control.
A big part of adding slams is that you can use them to kill minions if you're going for fatigue, or you can use them to draw if you're going for late game tempo.

The deck might not be fatigue but it is more recently designed to have that option.

You know I was thinking about this the other day.

Their win condition is through fatigue. Which is gained through control. This still makes it a control deck imo

When I play control warrior my win condition is not fatigue, unless I'm playing priest.

Fatigue isn't an archetype though. It's a control deck with a specific win condition.

Fatigue warrior is a control warrior...
Deck archetypes are like control, aggro, combo, burn/face.

Even "classic" control warrior decides to win through fatigue a lot of the time.
They're the same deck fatigue style just has 1 set win condition instead of multiples.

I think I'd consider control warrior and fatigue warrior to be distinct archetypes, but the line between them can be blurry and a lot of people are playing hybrids now.

to me it is also the same deck. Changin 4 cards in a deck doesn't magically makes it a new archetype, it is a tech choice. Less finishers mre stall tools.
